Test

This dialog allows you to test GDR templates on your documents.

You can test the current GDR template (the one currently open in GDR Designer) either on the current document (usually the one you choose as reference document) or on another document.

By default, the test is made with the current GDR template on the document used as reference.

The test dialog box will display:

• The type of the document tested, i.e. the name of the GDR template that will be use to process the document.

• The number of pages in the document.

• The contents of all variables declared in the GDR template.

Changing the document used for test

To select another document to test, click the icon. Select the file containing the document to test.

To select back the document used as reference (the one open in GDR Designer), click the icon.

Testing the current GDR template or all templates

To test the selected document with all GDR templates defined in the template directory, press the toggle button.

To test the selected document with only the current GDR template, depress the toggle button.
